Ruslin Tamsir, the man behind the invisible-locking carbon fiber speaker grilles featured in the McLaren Senna.

In a Facebook post back in January, Ruslin explains how he came close to giving up on his concept of “MOUNTING ARRANGEMENT FOR A LOUDSPEAKER GRILLE: “Invisible” Locking Feature for Carbon Fiber Speaker Grille.” But, he eventually succeeded through hard work and perseverance.

Ruslin was working with Harman International in Germany when he came up with this splendid invention. Although the patent for the design was filed back in 2019 through the company, it was only published by the European Patent Office on October 21, 2020.

Having worked with Harman International since 2014, Ruslin has also worked on many other projects such as the making of the speaker panel for BMW 5 series and 7 series as well as Volvo XC90 and XC60.

Ruslin has since left Harman International in 2019 to start a new company with a vision to manufacture Malaysia’s first electric vehicle (EV) bus. It’ll be Malaysia’s first EV bus which is made in Malaysia for Malaysians.

Never give-up and always push yourself to the limit. You will not succeed without trying and failing, and you will only be able to see your true potential after you succeed.

NEVER GIVE UP!
