Realme 16 Pro Harry Potter Edition announced, coming soon to Malaysia

Realme has announced its latest collaboration with Warner Bros Discovery, and it’s one for the Potterheads. The Realme 16 Pro 5G Harry Potter Edition is the most recent crossover between the smartphone manufacturer and the media conglomerate, following their previous Game of Thrones collaboration.

They haven’t reveal much about what you’ll get with the Harry Potter Edition just yet, but from what we can tell, it’s a custom version of the Master Gold edition with a cool new back panel that showcases the four houses of Hogwarts—Gryffindor, Slytherin, Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff.

That back panel also appears to be a colour-changing panel, along with Hogwarts’ motto underneath. There’s ‘Welcome to Hogwarts’ written on the side frame too, while you can expect a special custom case with the Hogwarts logo and the phone’s branding over it.

Hardware-wise, expect it to be the same as the standard Realme 16 Pro 5G. That means you’ll be getting a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Max under the hood, mated to up to 8GB of RAM and up to 512GB of storage, running Android 16 with Realme UI 7.0 skinned over it. There’s also a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a 2772 x 1272 resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate, a 200MP main camera with an 8MP ultrawide along with a 7,000mAh battery.

There’s no official word from Realme Malaysia yet on local pricing and availability details for the Reale 16 Pro 5G Harry Potter Edition, but we’ve been told that Malaysian Realme and Harry Potter fans can look forward to this special edition device real soon.
