HUAWEI Watch Ultimate now comes with in-depth golf tracking and dive mode reminders
It’s a good year if you’re into HUAWEI wearables as the brand has just launched the upgraded WATCH Ultimate alongside the spruced up GT 5 Series.
The new WATCH Ultimate comes in a new green edition with dual-coloured bezels. More than that though, it is stacked with a whole lot of hardy materials that promises durability. This includes a sapphire glass dial, zirconium-based liquid metal case, Nanocrystal ceramic back case, and a titanium alloy button.
For this year’s WATCH Ultimate, HUAWEI has decided to appeal to the golfing community with the new Golf Course Mode. You’ll find this on the GT 5 Series as well, but the Ultimate model provides far more comprehensive analytics, and even terrain-mapping support for over 180 major golf courses across Malaysia.
In terms of golfing insights, the Ultimate gives you readings relating to distance measurement, real-time wind speed, direction data, and green slope compensation. In Driving range mode, you can even monitor your backswing time, downswing time, and swing tempo to better analyze your form.
Outside of golfing, the WATCH Ultimate can withstand depths of up to 100-meters which puts it in good stead to be a diving watch. HUAWEI has also integrated crucial diving-related reminders, with alerts for overspeed ascent, safety stops, and decompression stops. These are communicated via a built-in buzzer which emits sound and vibrates, ensuring you are aware of the reminders.
The WATCH Ultimate dons a 1.5″ LTPO AMOLED display, with batteries that can last you 8 days with typical usage. Like the GT 5 Series, the Ultimate can also track Emotional Wellbeing by reading physiological data such as heart rate variability and skin temperature.
The HUAWEI Watch Ultimate is now available for pre-order until 4th October 2024. It retails officially at RM3,799 in Malaysia.
