1. Retrieving Facebook Data
Steps-by-step guide:
1. Go to facebook.com/dyi
2. Select the date range you’d like to retrieve. Select ‘All time‘ if you’d like to retrieve everything from day one.
3. Select the relevant activities you’d like to retrieve. All activities are selected by default.
4. Lastly, select Create File. Depending on how much data is being stored, it may take up to several hours before the download link is ready.

2. Instagram Data
Steps-by-step guide:
1. Go to your Instagram account settings.
2. Select Privacy and Security.
3. Under Data Download, select Request Download.
4. Select the preferred format and click Next.
5. Lastly, enter your password and click Request Download. Depending on how much data is being stored, it may take up to several hours before the download link is ready.
