Gently wipe the outside of your phone with a clean microfiber cloth to get rid of smudges and dirt. Instead of tissue paper or a cloth, you should use a microfiber cloth, as they absorb grease well and have a larger area to trap dirt.

Clean Phone Tip: Step #3 – Wipe your screen with disinfecting wipes. Be careful to avoid the ports.

Disinfecting wipes with 70% isopropyl alcohol are safe to use on electronic devices. Gently wipe down your phone while avoiding the ports. Be sure to clean the front and back.

Clean Phone Tip: Step #4 – Air dry for up to 5 minutes

The disinfecting wipes only need 4 minutes to disinfect your phone, but leave it to air dry for at least 10 minutes if you have the time.

Clean Phone Tip: Step #5 – Wipe down with a microfiber cloth once more

Use a new microfiber cloth to wipe away any leftover moisture. 

Clean Phone Tip: Step #6 – Repeat steps two to five with your phone case.

There’s not much benefit to a clean phone if you reinsert it into a dirty phone case. 

For silicone cases, submerge and wash them in a mixture of warm water and a little dishwashing liquid. Rinse well and leave it out to dry before reinserting the phone. 

Wipe the entire case with the distilled water and alcohol mixture with a microfiber cloth for hard plastic cases. Prepare the liquids in a one-to-one ratio.

With a cotton swab dipped in the water or alcohol solution to clean the small buttons and other small areas of the case. Dry with a clean, microfiber cloth and check that the case is completely dry before reinserting the phone.

Leather cases should be cleaned with a soap specifically formulated for leather and then treated with a leather conditioner. Let the case dry before reinserting the phone.
