Apple introduces new 13- and 15-inch MacBook Air with M3 Chip
Apple has unveiled its latest 13- and 15-inch MacBook Air models set to hit the market in the near future. The new MacBook Air models will utilize the M3 Chip, a processing unit which debuted on the MacBook Pro late 2023.
As a refresher, the M3 Chip features an 8-Core CPU and up to 10-Core GPU, alongside support for up to 24GB Unified Memory.
With a stronger processor in place, Apple says the new MacBook Air with M3 Chips are up to 60% faster than MacBook Air models with M1 chip, and up to 13x quicker than the fastest Intel-based MacBook Air.
The MacBook Air M3 will also have support for Wi-Fi 6E, an upgrade from those with the M2 Chip which only supports up to Wi-Fi 6. Additionally, you can expect Liquid Retina Display, MagSafe charging, and up to 18 hours of battery life on the new MacBook models.
For colour choices, you’ll have Midnight, Starlight, Space Grey, and Silver.
The exact date for when the MacBook Air with M3 Chip will arrive in Malaysia has not yet been stated. However, the official pricing has already been put up on Apple’s official website:
