Alienware AW2726DM: 27″ QD-OLED gaming monitor now in Malaysia, priced at RM1,419

Alienware, Dell’s gaming sub-brand, has a brand new gaming monitor in Malaysia. Creatively named the Alienware AW2726DM, while it isn’t particularly cheap it does seem to offer quite a lot of tech for the price.
The Alienware AW2726DM packs a 27-inch QD-OLED panel with a 2560×1440 resolution and a 240Hz refresh rate when using the built-in DisplayPort 1.4 connection. The monitor also features two HDMI 2.1 ports, although the maximum supported combination over HDMI is limited to 1440p at 120Hz.

On top of that, the Alienware AW2726DM supports AMD FreeSync Premium, VESA AdaptiveSync, 99% coverage of the DCI-P3 colour gamut and HDR10. However, one slight nitpick for those of you with big windows and bright lights in your gaming den is its 200nits rated brightness.

Other features of note include a built-in microphone, a 100 x 100 VESA mount, a stand with swivel, height, pivot and tilt adjustments on top of a 3-year warranty against burn-in. Curiously, no other I/O ports like USB-C or even any RGB lighting on the AW2726DM as far as we can tell.
The Alienware AW2726DM is now available via the Dell Malaysia website, priced at RM1,419.
