Razer Hammerhead V3 HyperSpeed gaming earbuds now in Malaysia, from RM399
Razer has announced the Hammerhead V3 HyperSpeed, their latest gaming earbuds designed for users who frequently switch between multiple devices and want low-latency audio performance across different platforms.
The Hammerhead V3 HyperSpeed uses Razer HyperSpeed Wireless to deliver low-latency 2.4GHz audio aimed at keeping in-game sound in sync with your realtime action. When switching to Bluetooth mode, Bluetooth 6.0 promises better power efficiency, improved latency and stronger stability, especially in environments with many wireless signals such as offices, public transport or gaaming events.
A key feature of the new earbuds is the HyperSpeed Case, which doubles as both a charging case and a wireless receiver. By placing the HyperSpeed dongle inside the case, users can connect to supported devices using the low-latency wireless mode. The case can also be connected directly to a device via USB-C, allowing users to play while charging at the same time. Razer’s SmartSwitch feature also enables quick switching between HyperSpeed Wireless and Bluetooth modes.
The earbuds come with Hybrid Active Noise Cancellation, which Razer says delivers up to 50% better noise reduction compared to the previous generation. As for battery life, it’s rated at up to 40 hours in total, with up to 10 hours of playback from the earbuds themselves and an additional 30 hours provided by the charging case. There’s of course RGB lighting on the case, which doubles as a status indicator for charging, connectivity and notifications.
When connected to a PC, the Hammerhead V3 HyperSpeed supports THX Spatial Audio through Razer Synapse 4, offering a virtual 7.1 surround sound experience designed to improve positional awareness in games. The earbuds also feature touch controls for playback, calls and wireless mode switching, while additional customization options are available through the Razer Audio App and Razer Synapse 4.
Already available on Razer Malaysia’s website and select retailers nationwide, the Razer Hammerhead V3 HyperSpeed is priced at RM599.
Razer Hammerhead V3 X HyperSpeed
For those seeking gamer earbuds on a lower budget, there’s also the Razer Hammerhead V3 X HyperSpeed. This ‘lite’ edition sacrifices premium features like active noise cancelling and Bluetooth 6.0, instead delivering Bluetooth 5.3 and Razer HyperSpeed Wireless connectivity via the HyperSpeed Case. It also has a shorter up to 35 hours of battery life, with the earbuds themselves delivering 10 hours of use and the case offering another 25 hours.
These are cheaper of course, coming in with a recommended retail price of RM399, and is available via the Razer Malaysia website and select retailers nationwide.
