Xiaomi Robot Vacuum 6 Max: 35,000Pa suction, AI triple cameras, from RM4,499

Rounding off the same launch that brought Xiaomi Malaysia’s new Mijia washers and air purifier is a new flagship robot vacuum, the Xiaomi Robot Vacuum 6 Max. It’s the top-end option in the range, and it’s built to handle just about all of the floor cleaning on its own.

Leading the spec sheet is suction, and there’s plenty of it. The Robot Vacuum 6 Max comes with Xiaomi’s strongest suction yet at 35,000Pa, enough to pull up dust, debris, hair and deep-seated grime. Mopping is handled by an all-new roller mop that uses real-time running water and constant pressure to tackle stubborn stains. It also features a triple mechanical-arm system, complete with an extendable side brush and corner mop pad, helping it clean corners, edges and around furniture legs more effectively.

The clever bit is how it gets around. An AI triple-camera setup teams up with a 360-degree retractable LiDAR to recognise more than 320 types of obstacles and stains, so it can steer around clutter and adjust how it cleans on the fly. Its bionic dual mechanical legs let it climb single steps of up to 6cm, while the retractable LiDAR lets it slip into gaps as low as 9.3cm.

Back at base, the omni station does the dirty work for you, emptying dust automatically for up to 75 days and washing the mop pad at up to 85°C before drying it with 50°C hot air. As usual, the Xiaomi Home app handles remote control, scheduling and monitoring.

On pricing, the Xiaomi Robot Vacuum 6 Max has an RRP of RM5,099, but is launching at a promotional price of RM4,499. It’s now available at Xiaomi stores nationwide, on mi.com, and through Xiaomi’s official stores on Shopee, Lazada and TikTok Shop.
