Realme 16T 5G: RM1,399 for midranger with 8000mAh battery, IP69 Pro rating
Alongside the Realme 16 5G, the brand has also announced the Realme 16T 5G. This sister phone of the regular Realme 16 offers a larger battery, but loses the horizontal bar camera bump in favour of a more traditional camera island by the top corner.

The Realme 16T 5G comes in a single configuration with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. Regularly priced at RM1,399, it is already available for purchase from their official stores on Shopee, Lazada and TikTok Shop as well as Realme Brand Stores and authorised dealers nationwide.
Early birds will be able snag a RM100 discount bringing the price down to just RM1,299, and will also get free gifts worth up to RM537. These include an Aisolove handheld fan, a one year extended warranty and a 180-day screen crack warranty.
Realme 16T 5G specs
The Realme 16T 5G comes in Aurora Green and Starlight Black, with the chassis measuring 8.88mm thin and weighing in at 224g. It houses a 6.8-inch LCD display, pushing a HD+ resolution capable of up to 144Hz refresh rate, 83% coverage of the DCI-P3 colour gamut and a peak brightness of 1200nits in high brightness mode, as well as a layer of Panda 1681 glass over it for scratch resistance.
Under the hood, the Realme 16T 5G comes with a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 system-on-chip, mated to 8GB of LPDDR4X memory and 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage. It comes with Android 16 out of the box, skinned with Realme UI 7.0 over it.
As for its cameras, the Realme 16T 5G gets a main 50MP, f/1.8 shooter using the Sony IMX852 sensor, flanked by a 2MP, f/2.4 monochrome lens, while up front is a 16MP, f/2.4 selfie shooter. That being said, you can use your rear camera for your selfies thanks to the selfie mirror tucked in the camera plateau.
Other features of note include a massive 8000mAh battery that’s good for two days of use, support for 45W fast charging, bypass charging, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and an IP69 Pro dust and water resistance rating.
