Nothing Phone (4b) set to debut on 7 July

By Raymond Saw June 24, 2026

Shortly after confirming that there won’t be a new CMF Phone this year, Nothing has now revealed that there will be a new budget-friendly Nothing Phone instead, dubbed the Phone (4b). This will sit below the Phone (4a) and likely will be priced around or slightly above what the CMF Phone would’ve been priced at.

The London-based tech company will be launching the Phone (4b) globally on 6PM, 7 July. While there aren’t any news just yet on what the Phone (4b) will look like, considering that it sits below the Phone (4a) series it’s likely to feature lower specs such as just a double rear camera setup, as hinted in their tweets.

As for what the ‘b’ in (4b) stands for, well it stands for nothing. No, seriously, it doesn’t have any real meaning to it other than it being a continuation of their naming scheme. According to Nothing co-founder Akis Evangelidis, the B series simply denominates that it’s a separate product category from their mainline A series, while those without a letter designation sit at the very top as their flagship products.

If you’re waiting to check out the Nothing Phone (4b) for yourself, you can head over to their YouTube and click to get notified once they go live.
