Infinix is back as the Official Gaming Phone Partner for MPL Malaysia Season 18

Infinix is back in Malaysia’s competitive Mobile Legends: Bang Bang scene as the Official Gaming Phone Partner for MPL Malaysia Season 18, marking its fourth consecutive season in the role since Season 15. The collaboration continues the brand’s involvement with the country’s leading MLBB esports competition, supporting another season of high-level mobile gaming action.

The phone at the heart of the partnership is the Infinix GT 50 Pro, which the brand launched in May and named the official gaming phone for both Seasons 17 and 18. It is built with gaming in mind, featuring a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate, a MediaTek Dimensity 8400 Ultimate chipset, customisable RGB lighting strips and a HydroFlow liquid cooling system designed to keep temperatures under control during longer gaming sessions. It also comes with pressure-sensitive GT Trigger shoulder buttons that double as camera controls, along with a 6,500mAh battery.

For Infinix, the partnership helps strengthen the GT series’ presence in Malaysia’s esports scene, reaching everyone from professional players and emerging talents to the fans who follow the action.

As for the competition itself, the MPL Malaysia Season 18 Regular Season runs from 14 August to 18 October 2026 at the MPL MY Arena on Level 6 of Quill City Mall Convention Centre in Kuala Lumpur. Eight of Malaysia’s leading MLBB teams will battle for the national title throughout the season, with the strongest sides advancing to the Playoffs. From there, the top two teams will earn the right to represent Malaysia at the M8 World Championship in Istanbul, Türkiye.
