BEST Express Malaysia teams up with INTI to help students gain real-world experience
BEST Express Malaysia, one of the leading logistics companies in Malaysia, has announced a partnership with INTI International University, culminating in the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding as they forge a closer collaboration between logistics and higher education.
The MoU signing ceremony, held at the BEST Express Malaysia offices, brought together representatives from both organisations, formalising their shared commitment towards nurturing talent and creating opportunities for students to gain real-world industry experience.
As part of the collaboration, both BEST Express Malaysia and INTI will work together on initiatives such as internship opportunities, career readiness workshops, on-campus recruitment, career fairs, industry-focused sharing sessions, coaching and mentorship programs from industry professionals as well as employer and research projects.
According to BEST Express Malaysia, they recognise that the logistics and eCommerce scene is continuing to evolve, and as such the demand for skilled and adaptable talent is growing too. As such, these initiatives will offer students the chance to gain a deeper understanding of the logistics and supply chain industry while developing practical skills and insights that will be beneficial for their career growth.
The logistics giant added that this collaboration is part of their broader commitment to strengthening its employer brand too, as they seek to help develop the country’s workforce. Students will be able to learn directly from experienced professionals and gain industry knowledge straight from the source, with BEST Express Malaysia encouraging students to innovate too.
It’s also hopefully the start of a long term partnership between themselves and INTI International University, as the two continue to explore more opportunities for knowledge exchange, talent development and industry engagement.
