Infinix has launched their latest gaming smartphone in Malaysia, the Infinix GT 50 Pro. This is perhaps their most gamer-centric device yet, complete with a high refresh rate display, RGB lighting and a liquid cooling system for better cooling.

Infinix GT 50 Pro Malaysia pricing and availability

The Infinix GT 50 Pro is now available for sale from their official stores on Shopee, Lazada and TikTok Shop as well as all authorised Infinix dealers nationwide. It starts at RM1,899 for the base model with 12GB of memory and 256GB of storage, while for RM2,199 you get 512GB of storage instead.

However, from now till 10 May, you can snag the Infinix GT 50 Pro with a RM200 discount for both configurations, along with a free GT MagCharge Cooler 2.0, case and power bank while stocks last. On top of that, you’ll also unlock a 10% purchase-with-purchase discount on the Infinix GT Buds 5 earbuds and the Infinix GT Watch 5 Pro.

Infinix GT 50 Pro specs and features

At first glance, it’s hard to mistake the Infinix GT 50 Pro for anything but a gaming smartphone. Available in red, silver and black colourways, it features an edgy, gamer-focused aesthetic, complete with 4 RGB strips that can be customised. On the front, you’ll find a 6.78-inch AMOLED display pushing a 1.5K resolution, a 144Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 4500nits.

Under the hood, it’s powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 8400 Ultimate system-on-chip, a 4nm processor that sits just below true flagship silicon. That gets mated to 12GB of LPDDR5X memory and up to 512GB of UFS 4.1 storage. The GT 50 Pro’s unique feature though is its HydroFlow Liquid Cooling solution with up to 6,437mm² of coverage for impressive thermal management, with 6 games already certified to run at 144fps on the GT 50 Pro. It also comes with Android 16 out of the box, with Infinix guaranteeing 3 major OS upgrades and 5 years of security patches.

Another feature on the Infinix GT 50 Pro is its Pressure Sense GT Triggers on the side. These pressure-sensitive shoulder keys offer 10 adjustable sensitivity levels as low as 10g of pressure. You aren’t limited to using it just in game either, with the shoulder triggers doubling as camera controls.

Speaking of cameras, the Infinix GT 50 Pro comes with a dual rear camera setup, with a main 50MP OIS shooter flanked by an 8MP ultrawide shooter, while up front is a 13MP selfie shooter. Keeping the lights on meanwhile is a 6,500mAh battery with support for 45W fast wired charging and 30W wireless charging. You also get support for both wired and wireless bypass charging, though the latter does require the optional GT MagCharge Cooler 2.0 accessory.

Other features include Dolby Atmos stereo speakers, an in-display fingerprint sensor, a Folex AI assistant, support for WiFI 6, NFC and Bluetooth 5.4 wireless connectivity, as well as an additional, self-developed N1 network chip that Infinix claims will deliver up to 60% stronger wireless connectivity.
