TechLife Pad Plus 2: Budget friendly RM899 tablet with 12″ display, 9,000mAh battery

The Realme sub-brand TechLife has launched their latest tablet in Malaysia, the TechLife Pad Plus 2. This budget friendly device packs a large display with an equally large battery, all while keeping the price tag accessible for most.

The TechLife Pad Plus 2 comes with 6GB of memory and 128GB of storage, priced at RM899. Already available for purchase from the official TechLife store on Shopee, Lazada and TikTok Shop as well as Realme Brand Stores nationwide, for RM999 you can also get their bundle consisting of the tablet, a TechLife Smart Watch L2 worth RM229 and a TechLife Wireless Earbuds+ 2 worth RM79.

TechLife Pad Plus 2 specs

The TechLife Pad Plus 2 is a large tablet, with a 12-inch IPS LCD display in a 5:3 aspect ratio pushing a 2000 x 1200 resolution as well as a 90Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 450nits.

It’s powered by a MediaTek Helio G100 system-on-chip under the hood, with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage and Android 16 out of the box. On the back, you’ll find a metal back panel as well as its 8MP rear camera, while up front is a 5MP selfie shooter.

Keeping the lights on is a 9,000mAh battery with support for 18W charging via USB-C. Other features of note include quad stereo speakers, 5W reverse charging, 4G LTE and WiFi support as well as Widevine L1 certification.
