Satechi ChargeView 240W Desktop Charger packs six USB-C ports with live wattage display

Premium tech accessory brand Satechi has launched the ChargeView 240W Desktop Charger, a six-port USB-C desktop charger designed to power multiple devices from a single unit while showing the power draw of each port in real time.

The charger delivers up to 240W of combined output, with two USB-C ports supporting up to 140W each for use on laptops up to MacBook Pro. The other two ports can deliver up to 100W each, while the final two provide up to 30W each, which is more ideal for your smartphones and other devices like earbuds or smartwatches.

Its front-facing LCD shows the live wattage being delivered through all six ports, allowing users to see how much power each connected device is drawing. The display also shows port activity, including ports that are not currently delivering power.

The 240W output is shared between connected devices, with the charger dynamically distributing power based on their requirements. This allows two high-power devices, such as laptops, to charge simultaneously through the two 140W ports.

Satechi adds that the charger supports USB Power Delivery 3.2 AVS and PPS for more precise power negotiation between the charger and connected devices. It uses a fanless gallium nitride (GaN) design and measures 4.3 x 3.6 x 1.5 inches.

On top of that, the ChargeView 240W Desktop Charger can be positioned vertically or horizontally using its included stand, while a massive 59-inch power cord is included in the box. The charger is compatible with USB-C devices including MacBook, iPad, iPhone, Apple Watch, AirPods and Windows laptops, as well as USB-C Android devices.

The Satechi ChargeView 240W Desktop Charger is priced at USD149.99, (approximately ~RM606.18), but at time of writing is not yet available on their official Shopee store in Malaysia.
