Samsung Electronics has showcased their latest lineup of residential and commercial HVAC solutions at Mostra Convegno Expocomfort 2026, including new AI-powered air conditioning systems and integrated smart building technologies. Held in Milan, the exhibition also marked the first joint display featuring products from FläktGroup after being acquired by Samsung last year.

One of their big reveals was the Bespoke AI WindFree Pro air conditioner, which introduced a new Motion Wind system capable of producing multiple airflow patterns ranging from rapid cooling to draft-free “WindFree” cooling. It also features AI Direct Wind and AI Indirect Wind modes that adjust airflow based on user position, as well as AI Fast & Comfort Cooling that automatically switches cooling modes based on room conditions.

SmartThings integration meanwhile lets you activate AI Energy Mode, which can reduce energy consumption by up to 30% depending on usage patterns and environmental conditions.

Samsung also showed off an all-in-one heat pump system under its EHS lineup, combining heating, cooling and domestic hot water functions into a single integrated setup. The system supports simultaneous usage such as space heating alongside hot water production, while heat recovery technology helps improve efficiency with a reported coefficient of performance of up to 8.2 under specific test conditions.

The company also presented commercial HVAC solutions from FläktGroup, including air handling units, chilled beams and fan coil units designed for large-scale environments such as commercial buildings and data centres.

Samsung said the expanded portfolio reflects its ongoing push into integrated HVAC and smart building solutions, combining connected control through SmartThings Pro with AI-driven optimisation across residential and commercial environments.
