Samsung expands AirDrop via Quick Share to more Galaxy devices

Samsung has announced that they’re bringing support for AirDrop via Quick Share to more Galaxy devices. This comes as part of the One UI 8.5 beta program, and will allow Galaxy users to try out their cross-platform file sharing feature.

The following devices will now be able to use AirDrop via Quick Share, as long as they have One UI 8.5 beta installed:

  • Galaxy S25 series
  • Galaxy S24 series
  • Galaxy Z Fold 7
  • Galaxy Z Fold 6
  • Galaxy Z Flip 7
  • Galaxy Z Flip 6

Separately, Samsung also confirmed that they’re expanding the One UI 8.5 beta program to more Galaxy devices. The One UI 8.5 beta branch is now available to the following devices:

  • Galaxy S23 series
  • Galaxy S23 FE
  • Galaxy Z Fold 5
  • Galaxy Z Flip 5
  • Galaxy A36 5G

The expanded One UI 8.5 beta will be rolled in through phases, with the US, UK, India and Korea the first regions to be part of it. To take part in the One UI beta program, users can register for it via the Samsung Members app.
