Samsung Malaysia announces price revision again, this time for Galaxy A57 5G and A37 5G

Samsung has announced another price revision again in Malaysia, just a month after hiking the prices of the Galaxy A07 and Galaxy A17. This time round, the models affected are the popular Galaxy A57 5G and Galaxy A37 5G.
This time round, the major change is actually to the top spec models of both Galaxy A devices. The Galaxy A57 5G with 512GB of storage has gone up by RM200 and is now priced at RM2,899. Meanwhile, the Galaxy A37 5G with 12GB of RAM is now RM2,199, also an increase of RM200.

Curiously, there’s also now a Galaxy A57 5G with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, which didn’t release alongside the other configurations when the Galaxy A series first launched. It will now be priced at RM2,099, bringing down the overall starting price of the series.
Nevertheless, at time of writing you can still get these two Galaxy A series smartphones at their older RRP, as these price changes will only be effective in Malaysia from 7 September onwards.
Samsung’s reasoning behind the price revision is more or less the same as the one given last month, with the Korean giant citing continued rises in global component costs, specifically for memory.
