Razer Seiren V3 Pro: Professional-grade dynamic microphone, priced at RM1,099

Razer Malaysia has announced its latest microphone for streamers and content creators, the Seiren V3 Pro. Positioned as a professional-grade dynamic microphone, the new model aims to bridge the gap between beginner-friendly USB microphones and more advanced XLR-based setups, offering gamers a premium option without going into ultra high end studio gear.

One of the biggest upgrades on the Seiren V3 Pro is support for 32-bit float recording through Razer Synapse on Windows. This means you can now get the same format used in professional recording studios right on your gaming PC. Unlike regular 24-bit recording, 32-bit float captures a significantly wider dynamic range, reducing clipping while preserving detail.

Razer has also integrated onboard audio processing directly into the microphone. Unlike software-based processing that relies on the host PC, the Seiren V3 Pro’s DSP handles audio enhancements internally. Razer claims broadcast-quality tone straight from the mic, with no plugins or extra processing needed.

Another notable feature is the Seiren V3 Pro’s dual connectivity options. Users can connect the microphone directly to a PC via USB Type-C for a straightforward plug and play experience. At the same time, the inclusion of an XLR output means the microphone can also be integrated into more advanced setups featuring mixers, audio interfaces and professional audio gear.

The microphone itself uses a 30mm dynamic capsule with a cardioid pickup pattern. Razer says it is tuned to deliver the warm and focused sound profile commonly associated with broadcast microphones, while covering a frequency response range of 50Hz to 16kHz.

In terms of hardware design, the Seiren V3 Pro features a zinc unibody construction and includes a built-in shock absorber to minimise vibrations. You’ll also find a bundled removable pop filter to reduce plosive sounds during speech, as well as an adjustable arm mount with vibration damping for more stable microphone positioning. There’s a physical gain dial too, along with a touch sensitive mute button and Razer Chroma RGB lighting ring that also shows you gain levels, mute status and clipping indicators.

The Razer Seiren V3 Pro is priced at RM1,099, and you can find it on sale over at the Razer Malaysia website as well as selected retailers nationwide.
