Razer Reclusa X Mini 65%: Hot-swappable board for gamers and enthusiasts, priced at RM239

Razer has launched the Reclusa X Mini 65%, a new compact mechanical gaming keyboard that comes hot-swappable out of the box. Unlike their usual keyboards that have a heavy gamer slant, the Reclusa X Mini 65% is part of a new lineup focused on budding keyboard enthusiasts.

The Reclusa X Mini 65% comes with Razer Orange Tactile Mechanical Switches Gen-3 pre-installed. These are factory-lubricated and provide a tactile bump while keeping actuation relatively quiet. There’s also a dual-layer silicone dampening inside the keyboard to reduce unwanted resonance and hollow sounds, along with doubleshot ABS keycaps featuring a tri-tone design.

The biggest selling point is the hot-swappable PCB, which supports most standard 3-pin and 5-pin mechanical switches. This means you can change switches without soldering, letting you further customise the X Mini 65% if you’d like. There’s south-facing LEDs for better compatibility with aftermarket keycaps too, alongside per-key Razer Chroma RGB lighting with support for 16.8 million colours.

Despite the enthusiast-focused features, Razer is still positioning the Reclusa X Mini 65% as a capable gaming keyboard. That means users will will get Razer Snap Tap, Snap Flex and Dual-Keypress Priority, along with a 1000Hz polling rate. Customisation and settings can be managed through their Razer Synapse app.
As mentioned earlier, the Reclusa X Mini 65% is the first keyboard under Razer’s new Reclusa lineup. Razer says a Reclusa Mini 65% is also coming soon, with more models planned for the range.
The Reclusa X Mini 65% is priced at RM239, and you’ll be able to get it from the Razer Malaysia website, and soon from local retailers too.
