Razer Huntsman V3 Tenkeyless 8KHz: Compact analog optical eSports keyboard for RM799

Razer has announced their latest keyboard, the Razer Huntsman V3 Tenkeyless 8KHz. This analog optical eSports keyboard is the brand’s cheapest entry in the Huntsman lineup, but still carries the same competitive design philosophy with core Razer technologies into a compact, tenkeyless form factor and an aluminum top plate.

The key feature of Razer’s new keyboard are its Razer Analog Optical Switches Gen 2, which work by measuring the light going through the switch stem across the full travel range. By eliminating physical contact and debounce delay, Razer says each keystroke can be precisely detected for stable execution even after repeated inputs, with the added benefit of being immune to magnetic interference.

These linear switches have been individually lubricated, and the extra internal foam dampening further help to deliver smoother actuation along with a cleaner and more controlled acoustic profile. Then there’s the true 8000Hz HyperPolling too, up to eight times faster than standard keyboards for reduced input delay.

There’s also rapid trigger sensitivity, Snap Tap and adjustable actuation settings, which lets players fine tune the responsiveness levels to better match their playstyle. All of these can be adjusted directly on the keyboard with visual feedback so that you’ll always know what settings you’re on.
