Nothing unveils Headphone (1) Pro with triple drivers, names V as Global Brand Ambassador
Nothing has announced the Headphone (1) Pro, a step up from last year’s Headphone (1) for those who want a bit more out of their listening. It pairs everyday features such as Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) with studio-grade tools aimed at audio enthusiasts, producers and creators. Alongside the new headphones, Nothing has also named BTS member and solo artist V as its new Global Brand Ambassador.
The Headphone (1) Pro uses a triple-driver setup consisting of a 40mm bass dynamic driver, a precision dynamic driver and a treble xMEMS driver, covering a frequency range of 20Hz to 40kHz. Tuned with London’s Metropolis Studios, it also features a Flat EQ Switch for a neutral sound profile, a ‘Studio B’ Dynamic Spatial Audio mode and five Custom EQ profiles designed for British music.
For noise cancellation, the Headphone (1) Pro features Adaptive ANC of up to 46dB, backed by a 10-mic system and redesigned ear cushions with an 8mm silicone baffle wall for a tighter seal. It also supports Hi-Res playback wirelessly and via USB-C, with lossless audio up to 24-bit/192kHz, along with Dynamic Spatial Audio with head tracking. Further sound adjustments can be made through the Nothing X app using Advanced or Simple EQ controls.
Design-wise, it keeps Nothing’s transparent look, with 9H Panda glass on the ear cups and an aluminium and titanium frame weighing 327g. A wider headband, thicker padding and softer ear cushions are also included for added comfort. Battery life is rated at up to 30 hours with ANC on or 68 hours with it off, with fast charging and an IP52 rating also supported.
The Headphone (1) Pro comes in Black and White, with an included protective cover that only wraps around the ear cups rather than the entire headphones. Nothing has yet to reveal local pricing, only saying that it will arrive in Malaysia at a later date. It is priced at £349, or roughly RM1,886 based on a direct conversion.
