Mokin Safe Swap program: Trade your old chargers in for a free 20W one

Mokin Malaysia has launched its Safe Swap Programme, a campaign that encourages Malaysians to replace old or damaged charging accessories that could pose safety risks during everyday use. The initiative is currently running throughout June 2026 and includes a free charger trade-in programme at selected locations.

Under the Safe Swap Programme, consumers can bring in old or damaged chargers from any brand and receive a complimentary Mokin 20W charger at no cost and with no purchase required. The offer is available on a first-come, first-served basis while stocks last.

The campaign is being conducted in collaboration with consumer electronics retailer Gajeto, with upcoming trade-in activations scheduled at:

• Gajeto 1 Utama (20-21 June 2026)
• Gajeto Setia City Mall (27-28 June 2026)

According to Mokin, customers can bring any charger regardless of brand and exchange it for a new Mokin 20W charger. Consumers who require faster charging solutions can also upgrade to selected higher-wattage chargers ranging from 33W to 140W at promotional prices during the campaign period.

The programme is centred around the company’s TrueGround technology, which the company says is a SIRIM-certified anti-leakage charging solution designed to reduce electrical leakage risks while charging devices. Mokin is encouraging consumers to inspect their chargers and cables for warning signs such as overheating, exposed wires, loose connections and inconsistent charging performance. Chargers collected through the Safe Swap Programme will be removed from circulation as part of the initiative.
