Klevv’s new DDR5 kits hit 8400MT/s, with RGB and low profile options

Klevv has launched two new DDR5 gaming memory series, the Cras V RGB and Urbane V RGB, with speeds of up to 8400MT/s and support for both Intel XMP 3.0 and AMD EXPO.
The Cras V RGB is the higher-end option, with speeds starting at 6000MT/s and going up to 8400MT/s. It comes with an aluminium heatsink in Obsidian Black or Brilliant White, along with customisable RGB lighting that works with Asus Aura Sync, Gigabyte RGB Fusion, MSI Mystic Light and ASRock Polychrome Sync.

Available in dual channel kits of up to 128GB (64GB x 2), it’s a decent option for anyone kitting out high end gaming PCs and systems used for demanding workloads such as video editing. Klevv adds that the memory is optimised for Intel Core Ultra 200 and 200S series processors, as well as AMD Ryzen 9000 series CPUs.
For users building a more compact PC, the Urbane V RGB takes a lower-profile approach. The modules stand at just 42.5mm tall, which should provide better clearance for large CPU air coolers and smaller cases.

The Urbane V RGB features a 10-layer PCB, On-DIMM PMIC and On-Die ECC, while its heatsink uses rounded edges and grooves designed to help with heat dissipation. It also has RGB lighting with a double-beam effect. Like the Cras V RGB, the Urbane V RGB supports speeds of up to 8400 MT/s alongside Intel XMP 3.0 and AMD EXPO profiles.

Both series have been tested for compatibility across mainstream motherboards and come with a limited lifetime warranty. Klevv says that the Cras V RGB and Urbane V RGB are now available through authorised retailers and distributors worldwide.
In Malaysia, distributor SunCycle has listed the Klevv Cras V RGB as starting from RM2,469 for a kit of two 16GB 6000MT/s sticks. The Urbane V RGB meanwhile starts at RM2,449 for two 16GB 6000MT/s sticks.
