Kirby and The Forgotten Land: Story
In Kirby and The Forgotten Land, Kirby washes ashore on a beach in a mysterious world with abandoned structures from a past civilisation. Kirby begins its adventure through an empty shopping mall and runs across deserted streets with skyscrapers.
In a setting where nature seems to have fused with civilisation, you battle the Beast Pack (animal-like creatures such as orange foxes and a large snake) and rescue Waddle Dees in peril as you travel through each themed stage.
As you work your way through the levels, you’ll unlock mini games like Flash Fishing. One thing’s for sure: it’ll be an exciting adventure. You can also experience various creative stage designs and 3D locations that make up the world, like a colourful fairground, a desolate desert and snowy landscapes.
Furthermore, expand Waddle Dee Town by rescuing more Waddle Dees. The Waddle Dees you rescue will unlock new features, like a shop, leaderboards, and the ability to evolve Kirby’s abilities to make him stronger. You’ll also be able to enjoy some of the townsfolk’s favourite games.
Kirby and The Forgotten Land: Mouthful Mode
Feeling hungry? Kirby can inhale real-world objects and transform using Mouthful Mode! Swallow a whole vending machine and then use your boxy body to shoot out cans at your enemies. Or, consume a car to gain some wheels and slam through walls.
This spectacular new mode is sure to bring some exciting new ways to get around and overcome obstacles in Kirby’s upcoming adventure.
Kirby and The Forgotten Land: 12 Copy Abilities
A Kirby game wouldn’t be complete without his signature copy abilities. Kirby will once again be copying his enemies and making use of some classic abilities. Many fan-favourite abilities will return, such as Kirby using a sword with his adorable hat and battling the Beast Pack with elements such as ice and fire.
However, we’ll also get to try out some new abilities in Kirby and The Forgotten Land. Kirby now has 12 new copies that can be evolved to attack and explore your surroundings! Its new copy abilities include:

Team up with a friend or family member for twice the fun! Pass a Joy-Con controller to a friend to help out in co-op play as the adorable Bandana Waddle Dee. While Kirby can float and inhale enemies, Bandana Waddle Dee can spin and stab with his sturdy spear.
