Infinix officially unveils GT 20 Pro in Malaysia; Priced at RM1,299
Infinix Malaysia has officially unveiled the latest of their affordable gaming device with the Infinix GT 20 Pro. This is the direct step-up from the GT 10 Pro released last year.
The Infinix GT 20 Pro comes in a single 12GB+256GB memory configuration, and is priced at RM1,299 in Malaysia. The smartphone is available for purchase starting today, with early orders coming with a complimentary GT Pro Gaming Kit worth RM89, consisting of a GT Mecha Case, GT Cooling Fan, and GT Finger Sleeve.
Interested buyers can make their purchase on the Infinix official store on Shopee and Lazada, as well as partnering retail stores.
The Infinix GT 20 Pro emulates the Cyber Mecha Design of the GT 10 Pro. Except for slight changes in the mechanically-themed design, you’ll be hard-pressed to tell them apart.
What’s new is the new Mecha Loop LED Interface, which is a customizable RGB half loop made out of mini-LEDs on the rear panel. Infinix says the LED interface carries 8 colour combinations, as well as four dynamic lighting effects for style.
Aesthetics aside, the GT 20 Pro is now decked with two processors. The first is the Dimensity 8200 Ultimate 4nm 5G processor; and the second a dedicated gaming display chip, the Pixelworks X5 Turbo. This secondary chip is responsible mostly for optimizing frame rates via Motion Estimation, Motion Compensation (MEMC) game frame interpolation, allowing for smoother gaming experience.
On that note, the Infinix GT 20 Pro sports a 6.78″ AMOLED display, offering Full HD+ resolution and 144Hz refresh rates, which is an upgrade from the 120Hz on its predecessor. Additionally. it’s powered by a 5,000mAh battery supporting 45W wired charging.
Moreover, it comes with a dual speaker setup, with Sound by JBL to enhance sound detail.
The Infinix GT 20 Pro is available in Mecha Blue, Mecha Orange, and Mecha Silver.
Taking in the footsteps of the GT 10 Pro, the GT 20 Pro is the official gaming smartphone of MAL MY Season 2, a Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) academy league in Malaysia.
