Honor Pad 20 series coming soon to Malaysia, as brand holds No.1 tablet spot for 27 months
Honor has a new tablet lineup on the way for Malaysia. The brand has confirmed that its Pad 20 series is coming to our shores soon, building on the Pad 10 with a fuller lineup that aims to make flagship-inspired features a lot more accessible to Malaysians.
From what Honor has shared so far, the Pad 20 series is bringing a decent list of upgrades over the previous generation. That includes a new display, flagship AI productivity features, better all-round performance, a much bigger battery and an upgraded speaker setup.
The bigger pitch here is that Honor wants the Pad 20 series to double up as a laptop alternative. With more people leaning on tablets instead of a full laptop, the series comes with a PC Mode and a suite of productivity-focused features meant to close the gap between tablet portability and proper laptop-style productivity.
The Pad 20 series is landing on the back of a pretty strong run for Honor here in Malaysia. According to the latest figures from research firm third-party market tracking and analysis, the brand has held on to its spot as the country’s No.1 Android tablet brand by sales volume for 27 consecutive months, sitting on a 32% share of the local Android tablet market.
Honor has stayed on top consistently from Q2 2024 through to Q2 2026, with demand spread across its entry-level, midrange and flagship tablets rather than riding on just one hero device. A big chunk of that recent momentum comes from the newly launched Honor MagicPad 4, which the brand says is its most successful flagship tablet launch to date. It more than doubled the sales of its predecessor, and it also happens to be the industry’s first 2-in-1 device to run a dual OS setup that pairs an AI PC with a tablet.
Alongside the tablets, Honor is also leaning into its growing AI-powered ecosystem, bringing its smartphones, tablets, laptops and wearables together for a more seamless experience. The brand has even extended compatibility to Mac and iPhone, making it easier for users who do not live entirely within Honor’s ecosystem.
Honor hasn’t shared the pricing or full specs for the Pad 20 series just yet, but says it’ll reveal more soon.
