If you’re planning to catch the FIfa World Cup 2026 Final with a crowd, Dataran Merdeka is set to host one of the biggest public screenings in the country this weekend. Or well, till Monday morning.

As one of the strategic partners of Fiesta Piala Dunia x Uniti Merdeka 2026 alongside RTM, Hisense will be bringing what it says is a recordbreaking 30 metre LED screen for the FIFA World Cup Final Match Fest, taking place from 17 to 19 July 2026 at Dataran Merdeka. The final itself though will be happening at 3am, Monday morning.

Besides the live screening, the three-day event will feature live performances, family-friendly activities, interactive booths and food vendors, turning Dataran Merdeka into a football carnival for fans throughout the weekend.

Hisense will also have an experiential zone where visitors can check out some of its latest products, including its Mini-LED ULED TV, MicroLED VIDAA TV, Three Drum Washing Machine and 4-Door Inverter Refrigerator. There will be lucky draw sessions too during the event, with a total of nine Hisense Q6Q Series 55-inch VIDAA QLED TVs up for grabs.

The partnership continues Hisense’s long-running association with the World Cup, with the company having been an Official Partner of the tournament since the 2018 Fifa World Cup in Russia and also the 2022 edition in Qatar.

If you’re looking for somewhere to soak in the World Cup atmosphere with fellow football fans, the Hisense Football Final Match Fest at Dataran Merdeka is open throughout the three-day festival, with the final match screening serving as the main highlight.
