BEST Express Malaysia hits 490% growth in customer shipment volume as demand skyrockets
BEST Express Malaysia says its large-parcel delivery business is experiencing significant growth, driven by rising demand from businesses and consumers requiring logistics services for bulky and oversized items.
According to the courier company, daily shipment volumes for its large-parcel segment increased by 82% recently, reflecting growing demand and continued expansion of its logistics operations across Malaysia.
To support the increase in volume, BEST Express Malaysia said it has strengthened operational management, refined delivery processes and enhanced service quality monitoring to ensure more efficient and reliable operations. The company added that these improvements are aimed at providing faster and more stable logistics services for large parcels.
The company also revealed that customer shipment volume grew by more than 490% month-on-month in May 2026, making it one of the key drivers of growth for the business.
BEST Express Malaysia attributed the performance to improvements in network management and service-level compliance, as well as better coordination between operational teams across different regions and cities. The company said these initiatives have contributed to higher operational efficiency and improved overall performance.
In addition to outbound deliveries, BEST Express Malaysia reported improvements in inbound shipment handling and delivery completion capacity nationwide. The company said this reflects the growing capabilities of its logistics network and positions it to support future growth.
As part of its ongoing expansion plans, BEST Express Malaysia is also focusing on strengthening service quality management. Its local Network Quality Team continues to oversee quality control measures and operational monitoring to maintain service reliability and consistency across its delivery network.
Looking ahead, BEST Express Malaysia said it will continue investing in its large-parcel logistics segment by expanding handling capacity, growing its service network, and improving transportation efficiency through enhanced digital management capabilities.
