If you’re an Astro subscriber who loves watching K-dramas, then you’re in for a treat. Astro has announced that a new channel, Astro Daebak (CH 393), is coming to all Astro customers from 1 July 2026 onwards.

According to the broadcaster, this strengthens their Korean content lineup after the global shutdown of the ONE HD channel in July 2026. Astro Daebak will complement their existing Korean content channels which includes tvN, tvN Movies, KBS World and K-Plus. tvN is also the network powering Astro Daebak’s content.

Astro Daebak’s content library will feature a mix of popular Korean dramas and variety shows, which includes fan favourites like Hotel Del Luna, Mr. Queen, The Devil Judge and Doom at Your Service, alongside acclaimed titles such as Reply 1988, Signal, What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim and Familiar Wife. The platform will also cater to K-variety enthusiasts with shows like 3 Meals a Day and Youn’s Kitchen, offering a wide selection spanning romance, comedy, thriller and reality entertainment.

Once again, Astro Daebak will be available to all Astro users from 1 July onwards, on channel CH 393, so it won’t be long before you’ll have a new channel to binge your K-dramas on.
