AMD Ryzen 7 7700X3D: New AM5 pathway for gamers hits shelves 16 July

On top of relaunching the Ryzen 7 5800X3D during Computex 2026 this week, AMD also announced the Ryzen 7 7700X3D processor. This is basically designed to be the new best value processor for anyone looking to build a new Socket AM5-based gaming PC, with a lower starting price compared to the Ryzen 7 7800X3D.
The Ryzen 7 7700X3D comes with 8 Zen 4 cores with 16 threads running at base speeds of 4.0GHz and boosts up to 4.5GHz. It also comes with 104MB of L2 and L3 cache, as well as a rated 120W TDP.
If those specs are familiar, that’s because from what we can tell the Ryzen 7 7700X3D is essentially a downclocked version of the Ryzen 7 7800X3D. Unfortunately, AMD did not share any performance benchmarks for the Ryzen 7 7700X3D, but it should likely sit between the Ryzen 5 7600X3D and the Ryzen 7 7800X3D.
As for pricing and availability, AMD says that the Ryzen 7 7700X3D will be available from 16 July onwards, with a global recommended starting price of USD329 (~RM1,328.17), though no local pricing details have been confirmed yet as of time of writing.
