Acer Malaysia launches new 24″ portable 144Hz gaming display, 27″ 210Hz gaming monitor

Alongside their refreshed Predator Helios Neo 16, Acer also debuted a pair of new gaming displays in Malaysia. While one of them is a standard gaming display with a high refresh rate at an attractive price, the other is a portable high refresh rate panel that can be powered by just a USB-C cord.

Nitro PG241Y P1

This portable panel is designed for gamers and creators on the move, with the Nitro PG241Y P1 being Malaysia’s first 23.8-inch portable gaming monitor. It features a 1080p resolution with a 144Hz refresh rate, a 4ms GTG response time, up to 300nits of brightness and full coverage of the sRGB colour gamut. There’s also a pair of 3W speakers, and you can power it up with just a single USB-C cable, though you can also hook it up via HDMI and a power cord to get full brightness.

The Nitro PG241Y P1 portable display is priced at RM649, at at the Predator Kasi Onz roadshow happening at Sunway Pyramid from now till 17 May, you can snag it for just RM499 complete with a free Acer Bluetooth speaker too.

Predator XB273U X2

As for their other new display, the Predator XB273U X2 is a 27-inch gaming monitor with an IPS panel pushing a 1440p resolution, capable of up to 210Hz when overclocked and using a DisplayPort cable. It also pushes an GTG response time as low as 0.5ms, along with a 90% coverage of the DCI-P3 colour gamut, 350nits of native brightness and up to 400nits of brightness in HDR mode along with 8-bit+FRC colour.

Other features include a pair of 2W speakers, support for AMD FreeSync Premium, a 100x100mm VESA mount, a tilt adjustable stand, two HDMI 2.1 ports, a DisplayPort 1.4 output and audio out.

The Predator XB273U X2 has a recommended retail price of just RM799, and during the Predator Kasi Onz roadshow will be priced even lower at just RM699.
