Acer CA1 series: Up to 32″ touchscreen smart monitors running Android, from RM2,699
Acer has launched a new lineup of smart monitors in Malaysia, the Acer CA1 series featuring 27- and 32-inch displays. These smart monitors are not only portable thanks to a wheeled stand but also have a built-in battery, on top of an Android operating system for easy access to entertainment.

The Acer CA1 will come in two options with the following price tags:
- Acer CA271, 27″, FHD – RM2,699
- Acer CA321QK, 32″ 4K – RM3,499
As part of their launch promotion, Acer is giving away portable monitors along with the CA1 series. The larger CA321QK is already available for sale at authorised Acer retailers as well as from the Acer eStore, and will come with an Acer PM191QE worth RM469. The Acer CA271 meanwhile is available for pre-order and will come with the Acer PM161QJ2 worth RM299.
Acer CA1 series specs
As mentioned earlier, there are two sizes in the Acer CA1 series, with a smaller 27-inch and a larger 32-inch model. Starting off with the larger CA321QK, this is a 32-inch VA panel pushing a 4K resolution with a 60Hz refresh rate, a 16ms response time, a peak brightness of 250nits, a 3000:1 contrast ratio and 85% coverage of the DCI-P3 colour gamut.
It also comes with a pair of 8W speakers, while for I/O you get a HDMI 2.0, a USB3.0 port and a USB-C port with 10W power delivery.
The smaller CA271 meanwhile features a 27-inch VA panel with a FHD resolution, a 60Hz refresh rate, a 6.5ms response time, a peak brightness of 260nits, a 4000:1 contrast ratio and full coverage of the sRGB colour gamut. You’ll also find a pair of 5W tweeters alongside a pair of 5W midwoofers, while for I/O you get a HDMI 2.0, a USB 2.0 and a USB 3.0 port.
The rest of the features on either Acer CA1 smart monitor though is the same, starting with its operating system. These are touchscreen smart monitors, and come with Android 14 out of the box, letting you quickly access your streaming apps such as Netflix and YouTube, or even watch TikTok and Instagram reels thanks to the automatic screen rotation setting.
If you prefer to hook it up to your computer though, the Acer CA1 supports wireless casting too, letting you easily share your screen with others from your laptop or smartphone. An integrated 8MP camera meanwhile lets you use the CA1 as a video call tool for big groups and meetings.
As for the included stands, they offer height, tilt and orientation adjustment for comfortable and versatile viewing. They also house the up to 8,550mAh onboard battery, giving you up to three hours of use away from a wall plug.
