You can now clip and share your favourite podcast moments on Spotify

Spotify is making it easier to save and share your favourite podcast moments with a new Clips feature that’s now rolling out globally for both Free and Premium users on mobile devices.
The new feature lets listeners capture short snippets from podcasts directly within the Spotify app, making it easier to revisit memorable conversations, funny moments, or useful advice without scrubbing through an entire episode again.
Using Clips is fairly straightforward. While listening to a podcast, users can tap on a new scissor icon in the Now Playing screen to capture a segment. The clip can then be trimmed before being saved or shared.
Spotify has also upgraded its sharing menu, giving users multiple ways to share podcast content. Besides clips, listeners can also share full episodes, chapters, or timestamped moments directly through Spotify Messages or other supported platforms. Saved clips will appear in a dedicated section within Your Library, and they can also be added to podcast playlists for easier access later.

Spotify says podcast Chapters, which launched earlier this year, are already being saved and added to playlists more than 2 million times every month. The company also claims that early testing shows podcast saving activity increases when Clips are enabled. For creators, Spotify believes Clips could help with podcast discovery by turning individual moments into entry points for new listeners.
The Clips feature is beginning to roll out globally on mobile devices for both Spotify Free and Premium users. Spotify says support will gradually expand to more podcast shows over time.
