Yes AI 30 offers uncapped 5G, unlimited calls and ILMUchat Pro for RM30

Yes has a new entry-level postpaid plan out, and it’s built around AI rather than the usual freebies. Called Yes AI 30, it pairs uncapped 5G with free access to Malaysia’s own ILMUchat AI, and it sits just below the telco’s existing Power 35 plan.

The plan costs RM30 a month, but there’s a launch offer that brings it down to RM20 a month for the first six months. For that, you get uncapped 5G Advanced data with no fair usage policy (FUP) and no speed caps, along with unlimited calls. The one catch to watch is hotspot data, which is capped at 12GB a month.

What sets it apart from your typical starter plan is the AI part. Instead of throwing in entertainment or lifestyle perks, Yes bundles in ILMUchat Pro, which normally goes for RM50 a month on its own. The Pro tier gives you more daily messages, extra file and image uploads, more voice minutes, and Deep Research, which pulls together multi-source answers with citations.

That’s worth keeping in mind when weighing up the value. Since ILMUchat Pro comes free across the Yes lineup anyway, the real draw of AI 30 is that it’s a cheap way to get uncapped 5G with the AI thrown in. It’s also worth noting the RM50 “value” is Yes’s own list price for a service it gives away, and Pro is essentially the free version with the usage limits lifted, so how much it’s worth to you really depends on how heavily you’d lean on it.
