Xgimi officially enters Malaysia with Horizon 20, Aura 2 and MoGo 4 smart projectors

Chinese projector brand Xgimi has officially entered the Malaysian market, bringing its latest range of smart projectors that span everything from premium home cinema models to portable battery-powered options.
The local lineup includes the flagship Horizon 20 Series, the ultra-short-throw Aura 2 (New), the portable MoGo 4, as well as the more affordable Elfin Flip Plus and Vibe One. The idea is that projectors can be an alternative to conventional TVs by combining built-in smart features, automatic image adjustment and integrated speakers into an all-in-one package that requires minimal setup.

Leading the lineup is the Horizon 20 Series, which is designed for home cinema and gaming. Xgimi says the projector delivers 4K resolution with built-in Harman Kardon speakers, while also claiming it is the world’s first smart projector to receive both Dolby Vision and IMAX Enhanced certifications. The projector is also aimed at gamers, with Xgimi touting high brightness, an up to 240Hz refresh rate at 1080p and input lag as low as 1ms.

For those who prefer an ultra-short-throw setup, the Aura 2 (New) can project up to a 120-inch image while just inches away from the wall. Besides its home entertainment capabilities, the projector also features an automatic lens cover and an Art Mode that displays artwork or ambient visuals when it’s not in use.

Meanwhile, the MoGo 4 targets users looking for a portable entertainment solution. Roughly the size of a thermos flask, it comes with a built-in battery that provides up to 2.5 hours of playback, making it suitable for outdoor movie nights or camping trips.

The MoGo 4 also features an integrated 360-degree adjustable stand that allows it to project onto both walls and ceilings without requiring additional accessories. Running Google TV and equipped with Harman Kardon speakers, it can also double as a standalone Bluetooth speaker. There’s also magnetic snap-on lens filters that can crreate ambient lighting effects.

Rounding off the lineup are the Elfin Flip Plus and the battery-powered Vibe One. The Elfin Flip Plus is a compact Full HD projector, while the Vibe One combines a portable projector with a Bluetooth speaker and built-in ambient lighting. Both models also feature automatic image correction and setup.
