Vivo V80 Lite 5G: 10,000mAh battery, Dimensity 7300e and 6.83″ display, from RM1,499
Another day, another phone with a 10,000mAh battery capacity it seems, with it being Vivo’s turn this time around. The Chinese smartphone manufacturer has announced the Vivo V80 Lite 5G, with this midranger’s key feature being of course the massive battery under the hood.

The Vivo V80 Lite 5G is now available for pre-order in Malaysia till 11 September at all Vivo Concept Stores nationwide as well as their online stores. Here are the recommended retail prices for the Vivo V80 Lite 5G:

- Vivo V80 Lite 5G, 6GB RAM, 256GB storage – RM1,799
- Vivo V80 Lite 5G, 8GB RAM, 256GB storage – RM1,999
As part of the launch, pre-orders will come with a RM100 cash rebate, as well as a free smart projector worth RM699, a backpack, a card holder and a V Selection earbuds. You’ll also get another RM100 rebate if you snag it via a 6-month or 12-month 0% instalment plan with one of their bank partners, with include Hong Leong Bank, Public Bank, UOB or OCBC.

Of course, the main highlight with the Vivo V80 Lite 5G is its 10,000mAh Blue Volt battery, with Vivo claiming it can livestream up to 32 hours and 37 minutes long. That massive battery has been paired with 44W fast charging as well as support for reverse charging to juice up your accessories.
The phone itself comes with a 6.83-inch AMOLED display, pushing a 2800 x 1260 resolution with an up to 120Hz refresh rate, a peak brightness of 2000nits in high brightness mode and full coverage of the DCI-P3 colour gamut.
Under the hood, the Vivo V80 Lite 5G comes with a MediaTek Dimensity 7300e system-on-chip, a 6nm midrange chipset that’s been mated to up to 8GB of LPDDR4X memory and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. It comes with Android 16 out of the box, skinned with OriginOS 6 over it.
In the camera department, there’s a main 50MP, f/1.8 shooter on the back using a Sony IMX852 image sensor, flanked by a 2MP bokeh sensor, while up front is a 32MP selfie shooter. Other features of note include an IP68/IP69 dust and water resistance rating, an in-display fingerprint sensor and stereo speakers.
