Tune Talk Epik+ 50: 5G speeds up to 900Mbps, 96% coverage and 500GB of data for just RM50

Those of you of a certain age would have been around when prepaid mobile plans were all about reloading your credit as and when needed to get your data and make your calls. However, with 97% of Malaysians using a smartphone, the way we use our phones have changed too.

Smartphones are now our gateway to the internet, be it for videos, work, navigation, social media, gaming or for studies. But for those still on prepaid plans, does it still mean needing to make compromises on performance?

Well, not according to Tune Talk. The MNO’s Epik+ 50 prepaid plan has been designed from the ground up for power users who want more from their mobile plan without needing to be tied down to long-term contracts.

At just RM50 a month, you’re getting a massive 500GB data quota of 5G and 4G data, which will let you comfortably watch videos, get on video calls, doomscroll on social media or even hotspot to work on your laptop with ease. That being said, having the quota is one thing; you need to have a fast and stable connection too.

According to Tune Talk, its network supports 5G speeds of up to 900Mbps. At these speeds, users could download large files, stream high-resolution videos and join video calls with less waiting. Tune Talk also claims 96% nationwide coverage, giving users another factor to consider when choosing a mobile plan. Of course, actual speeds can vary depending on external factors, such as your device compatibility and network congestion.

On top of that, subscribers get unlimited domestic calls and E-Roaming benefits which gives you bundled roam like home with no speed cap or FUP across 13 different countries that uses your main data pool.

All of this makes the Tune Talk Epik+ 50 plan more than just the ol’ prepaid plan of yesteryear. For just RM50 a month, you’re getting high speed data, unlimited domestic calls, 96% nationwide coverage, hotspot capabilities, free E-Roaming and perhaps most importantly, no long term contract that locks you down for up to years at a time.
