Time Internet to kill Huawei AppGallery support

If you’re one of the dozens of Malaysians out there with a Huawei smartphone and a Time Internet subscription, then here’s some unfortunate news for you: Time will apparently be ending app support for the Huawei AppGallery.

This comes courtesy of a report by Amanz, who also included a screenshot of what appears to be an email sent out by Time to their customers. It says that from 25 April onwards, the Time app will no longer be supported via the Huawei AppGallery.

This means that from that date onwards, the version of the app downloaded from the AppGallery will no longer be active, and users won’t be able to manage their account, process payments or view their bills from there. As such, users may need to resort to doing it via their website instead.

Of course, Huawei users probably already know about sideloading apps onto their device. The Time app is still available on Google Play Store, though we do ask that you ensure the safety of your source when attempting to sideload apps onto your device.
