You can also pair both devices together for deeper analysis with Suunto ZoneSense which uses Heart Rate variability to show the intensity of the exercise based on the body’s condition to assess how hard the exercise was.

Editorial Thoughts
If you are actively training for a 10K, half-marathon, or full marathon, the Suunto Run 2 offers compelling value for its weight class. Getting a 35g watch with a 2,000-nit AMOLED display and full offline map navigation starting at RM1,549 is a strong proposition compared to rival brands.
However, buyers should take a close look at the storage options: the base RM1,549 model gives you 4GB of storage, while the 64GB model costs RM1,699. If you plan to download multiple offline map regions and store music playlists directly on your watch to run without a phone, spending the extra RM150 for the 64GB variant is a no-brainer.
Suunto has always been known as a reputable brand from their initial days being known as a diving watch and I am quite happy to also see them join the running wave that is taking over Malaysia. Being a pure running watch may pit it against stronger rivals such as Garmin and the rising Amazfit, I hope they create more software to tap into bigger trends such as Hyrox and other sports.
