Soundcore Liberty 5 Pro series now in Malaysia with AI chip, ANC and AI meeting summaries
Anker’s audio brand Soundcore has launched its new flagship true wireless earbuds lineup in Malaysia, consisting of the Liberty 5 Pro and Liberty 5 Pro Max.
The new earbuds are powered by what Anker calls the world’s first Thus AI chip, which is said to offer 150 times more AI computing power compared to its previous flagship audio products. Soundcore says that this lets the Liberty 5 Pro series excel in call clarity and active noise cancellation (ANC).
The earbuds feature upgraded “whisper-clear calls” technology alongside the new AI chip to improve voice pickup while reducing background noise during calls. Soundcore also claims that the earbuds have been recognised by the Guinness World Records in April 2026 for achieving the “highest speech quality score (G-MOS) for TWS earbuds” in objective testing.
As for ANC, the Liberty 5 Pro series uses an 8-microphone setup combined with real-time audio processing to adapt noise cancellation based on surrounding environments such as public transport, cafes and busy streets.
The higher-end Liberty 5 Pro Max comes with additional AI-powered productivity tools too, such as the new AI Note Taker tool that can record, transcribe and summarise meetings, lectures and interviews in real time. These summaries and recordings can sync across iOS, Android, PC and Mac via the Soundcore app.
The charging case also includes a 1.78-inch AMOLED touchscreen display, allowing users to access ANC controls, voice recording features and earbud settings directly from the case itself.
Both earbuds meanwhile feature Soundcore’s “Signature Sound” system, which uses multiple AI models to optimise audio in real time for music, movies, gaming and calls. This lets the system dynamically adjusts vocals, bass and detail depending on the content being played.
As for how much they’ll cost, the Soundcore Liberty 5 Pro is now available at RM699 while the Liberty 5 Pro Max is priced at RM899. You’ll be able to get them over on the official Anker store on Shopee and Lazada, but you can also check them out in-person at Anker’s retail store located at IOI City Mall.
