Samsung QLED Q5F Smart TV: Up to a 43″ QLED display, from as low as RM1,099

Looking to try out a new QLED television on a budget? Samsung might just have the answer for you, as they’ve just announced their new QLED Q5F Smart TV range, offering premium QLED technology at accessible prices.

Available in 40-inch and 43-inch options, the QLED Q5F Smart TV uses Samsung’s QLED panels. QLED is essentially a fancier, more high end version of a regular LCD panel, with the additional of ‘quantum dots’ for better colours compared to regular LED TVs that used just regular white LEDs.

The QLED Q5F Smart TV are Full HD 1080p displays, and feature support for HDR10+, 50Hz refresh rates, and a 2-channel 20W speaker with Object Tracking Sound Lite and virtual top channel audio. It comes with One UI Tizen out of the box to handle the smart TV experience, with Samsung committing to seven years of Tizen OS upgrades. Samsung smartphone users will also be able to control the TV via Quick Remote.

As for pricing and availability, the Samsung QLED Q5F Smart TV is already available for purchase via the Samsung Malaysia website. While it has a recommended retail price of RM1,299 for the 40″ and RM1,399 for the 43″ model, as part of its launch you can get it for its promotional price of just RM1,099 and RM1,199 respectively. Furthermore, you can snag an additional RM100 or RM150 off respectively if you get live streaming vouchers on the Samsung website.
