Samsung Unwraps New AI TV and Premium Soundbar Lineup Alongside Vision AI Platform
Samsung has lifted the curtains on its 2025 AI TV and premium soundbar lineup. Alongside this, the brand also previewed the Samsung Vision AI platform, which plays a crucial role in delivering a hyper-personalized and intuitive smart home experience.
One neat feature that comes with Vision AI is Universal Gesture. It allows users to navigate their Samsung TV using the Galaxy Watch7 through a routine of gestures. For example, shaking the wrist activates the cursor, while pinching selects the item the cursor is on. To go back, users simply need to ball their fist, and scrolling can be done by rotating the Galaxy Watch7’s bezel.
Headlining the Samsung AI TV 2025 lineup is the Neo QLED 8K TV QN990F, which comes in 75-inch and 85-inch models. AI-powered features on the TV include 8K AI Upscaling Pro, AI Motion Enhancer Pro, and Real Depth Enhancer – all of which contribute to sharp and smooth visuals.
According to Samsung, Vision AI will also extend to the Neo QLED 4K, OLED, and QLED lineups.
Complementing the Samsung AI TVs is a lineup of new soundbars, including the HW-Q990F, HW-Q930F, HW-Q800F, and HW-QS700F. The soundbars promise a cinematic audio experience with Wireless Dolby Atmos. Moreover, Samsung says the subwoofers are now 50% smaller, making them a space-friendly option for modestly sized rooms and apartments.
The Samsung AI TVs are now available for pre-order until 1 June 2025. Customers will receive a complimentary premium soundbar (worth up to RM6,499) with selected pre-orders.
