Samsung 5.5 deal: As low as RM1,499 for the new Galaxy A series

The Samsung Galaxy A57 and Galaxy A37 only launched back in March, and while you can get it for as low as RM1,799 with their launch rebate, Samsung is now throwing in additional deals during their 5.5 sale.

Available only from today will 7 May, the Samsung Galaxy A57 512GB is down to just RM1,799. Meanwhile, the Galaxy A37 256GB is down to just RM1,499, from its original price of RM1,899. You can find these deals over on the Samsung Malaysia website while stocks last.

To recap, these new Samsung Galaxy A series smartphones come with a 6.7-inch FHD+ display capable of a 120Hz refresh rate and a 1900nits peak brightness. The Galaxy A57 gets an aluminum frame and a Super AMOLED+ panel though, with the Galaxy A37 getting a plastic frame and a Super AMOLED panel instead.

Under the hood, the Galaxy A57 also gets a more powerful Exynos 1680 system-on-chip, with the Galaxy A37 powered by the Exynos 1480 instead. They both come with up to 12GB of memory, and the A57 also gets up to 512GB of storage. One great thing about them is that they get Android 16 out of the box with OneUI 8.5 over them and six years of software support.

As for cameras, they both come with a 50MP main and a 5MP macro along with a 12MP selfie shooter, though the Galaxy A57 has a more capable 12MP ultrawide over the A37’s 8MP ultrawide. You’ll find a 5,000mAh battery too on both devices, with support for 45W fast charging. Other features include stereo speakers, an in-display fingerprint sensor, Samsung Knox security and an IP68 dust and water resistance rating.
