ROG launches Archer Messenger 14 and Archer Backpack 16, priced from RM359

ROG might be well known for their gaming hardware, but they do also have an accessory lineup for the stylish gamer. They’ve just announced the arrival of two new bags in Malaysia, the Archer Messenger 14 and Archer Backpack 16, offering style, durability and comfort for gamers on the go.

The Archer Messenger 14 is an everyday carry sling bag meant for up to 14-inch laptops, with breathable straps to relieve the pressure on your shoulders, while its mesh back panel minimises heat buildup at contact areas. It also features a military-grade Modular Lightweight Load-Carrying Equipment system, giving you the option to add pouches and other random stuff like water bottles to its outside.

Inside, there’s a bunch of pockets and pouches, with the laptop compartment itself padded for extra protection. There’s also a dedicated RFID-blocking pouch for your wallet and passports to keep it safe from card skimmers and key-fob cloning.

The bag itself is built out of a premium Cordura 610D fabric, giving it water repellent attributes and extra durability from day-to-day abrasions and scratches. You’ll also find YKK zippers and a Woojin plastic buckle, while ROG-themed branding and a linear aesthetic complete the look.

As for the Archer Backpack 16, this is a slim, multi-layered backpack that will fit up to 16-inch laptops and other everyday items. If you need even more space, a zipper expansion layer adds compartments, while the breathable cushioned shoulder straps and adjustable chest strap further add to your comfort. And just like the Messenger 14, the Archer Backpack 16 is built out of Cordura 610D fabric, YKK zippers and a Woojin plastic buckle.

The ROG Archer Messenger 14 is priced at RM359, while the Archer Backpack 16 goes for RM499. Both are already available from the official ASUS Malaysia website, as well as selected authorised retailers nationwide.
