REDMI A7 Pro: Large 6.9″ display with 6000mAh battery for under RM400
Xiaomi has launched yet another smartphone, and this time around it’s a highly affordable entry level device: the REDMI A7 Pro. Despite its low price tag, it still has a number of practical features such as a large screen and massive battery.

The REDMI A7 Pro is now available for purchase from all Xiaomi stores nationwide, as well as the Xiaomi Malaysia website and their official stores on Shopee, Lazada and TikTok Shop. It’s priced at RM399 for the base model with 64GB of storage, while for RM449 you get 128GB of storage instead.

The REDMI A7 Pro features a 8.15mm thick chassis weighing in at 208g in Black, Sunset Orange and Mist Blue. It houses a 6.9-inch LCD display pushing a HD+ resolution with a 120Hz refresh rate, up to 800nits of brightness in high brightness mode and 83% coverage of the NTSC colour gamut.
Under the hood, you’ll find the Unisoc T7250 system-on-chip, an entry-level 12nm processor mated to 4GB of LPDDR4X memory and up to 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage. It comes with Android 16 out of the box, skinned with HyperOS 3 over it, and is also the first time the REDMI A series gets AI features such as Google Gemini and Circle to Search.
As for its cameras, the REDMI A7 Pro comes with a 13MP, f/2.2 main camera on the back capable of 1080p at 30fps video recording, flanked by an auxiliary lens. An 8MP, f/2.0 front camera meanwhile takes care of your selfies.
The REDMI A7 Pro also boasts a large 6000mAh battery with support for 15W charging that Xiaomi claims is capable of up to 77 hours of music playback, up to 49 hours of calls and up to 35 hours of video playback. Other features of note includes NFC connectivity, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, a bottom-firing speaker that goes up to 200% and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
