Design and Display

Realme GT Neo 2 is available in two colours, Neo Green and Neo Blue. The Neo Green variant has a green-coloured back with a jet-black racing stripe, similar to the standard yellow GT model.

Its 6.62-inch display boasts a non-disruptive punch-hole selfie camera, a 120Hz refresh rate, 1300 peak nits, and supports HDR10+. These details ensure that the display can bring out the vibrancy of what’s on screen, making it ideal for gaming!

Realme also pairs the phone with a tough in-box casing instead of the see-through silicon covers you’d typically get. So, you probably won’t have to buy a separate case for added protection.

Cameras

The camera system in Realme GT Neo 2 seems identical to its predecessor, the Realme GT. The phone packs a triple-camera system, and two LED flash modules, along with a punch-hole selfie camera.

The three rear cameras consist of a 64MP primary camera, 8MP ultra-wide lens and 2MP macro camera. Furthermore, the 16MP front-facing camera on the top left corner takes better selfies than most budget phones.

Performance

Under the hood, the GT Neo 2 houses the Snapdragon 870, the most powerful chipset found in low-cost phones. The choice of processor makes it a rather powerful phone, perfect for gaming!

The phone can run most games since it can efficiently render high-resolution graphics and quickly load games. Additionally, the 870 ensures that the Neo 2 won’t overheat after gaming, unlike the standard GT that uses the SD888.

Besides the processor, its 12GB RAM and 256GB of storage also sustain its noteworthy performance. All in all, if you’re looking for an excellent gaming phone, the Realme GT Neo 2 is one of your best options!

Battery Life

The sleek-designed phone runs a 5,000mAh battery, which Realme also pairs with a 65W supercharger. One of the key highlights of the Neo 2 is that it takes only 36 minutes to charge fully!

Overall, the Realme GT Neo 2 is a well-rounded phone with excellent capabilities, fast charging time and outstanding efficiency. Many reviewers even dare compare it to other high-end devices like Xiaomi 11T, and it ultimately holds up well!

Price

You can purchase the Realme GT Neo 2 with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage on the Realme Official Shopee Store for RM2,099. It is available in Neo Blue and Neo Green, which exclusively has black stripes on its back.
