realme 11 Pro Series 5G with Vegan Leather Officially Launches in China
The eye-catching realme 11 Pro Series 5G has officially launched in its home country in China. realme teased the design of their latest numbered series weeks ago, but now we get to see the realme 11 Pro Series 5G in full light.
The series will come in two variants: the realme 11 Pro and the realme 11 Pro+. According to realme China’s official website, the realme 11 Pro will start from ¥1799 (RM1162.89), while the realme 11 Pro+ will start from ¥2099 (RM1356.81).
The realme 11 Pro Series 5G is now only available in mainland China. There hasn’t been an official date as to when it will come to Malaysia, though we should expect a launch soon.
For now though, we’ll have to rely on what’s been released in China.
realme 11 Pro Series 5G specs
What undoubtedly stole the show in its teasers was the luxuriously lychee-hued textured back panel, with a lace-like strip that encircles the central camera module before streaming downwards towards the bottom.
If you’re wondering, the glamourous new design is the craftsmanship of Matteo Menotto, a former Gucci Prints designer. According to him, the lychee-coloured design – which we now know is Sunrise Beige – was inspired by the hues of the rising sun as it drapes over classic architecture in Milan.
Beyond Sunrise Beige, you’ll also have the choice of Oasis Green and Astral Black.
Based on what we see on the website, all three colours are available on the realme 11 Pro+ and the realme 11 Pro.
What seems to separate the variants lies mostly on the RAM/Storage configurations and the camera systems.
The realme 11 Pro+ manages to fit on a 200MP SuperZoom camera backed by a 1/1.4-inch large sensor, which thankfully comes with OIS. This is flanked by an 8MP ultra-wide, and a 2MP macro lens. At the front, you’ll have a 32MP selfie camera.
The realme 11 Pro on the other hand will keep to a 100MP camera with OIS, and a 2MP macro lens. That’s right, it seems you’ll have to make do with a dual camera system on the 11 Pro. Front camera is also slightly leveled down with a 16MP selfie camera.
Apart from that, the realme 11 Pro+ will have 12GB of RAM and up to 1TB of storage. The realme 11 Pro on the other hand will carry both 8GB and 12GB RAM options, with storage only going up to 512GB.
Both variants will have 8GB of Dynamic RAM Expansion.
Whether or not realme will bring this full range of configurations to Malaysia is still unconfirmed.
Other than that, most key specs seem to be consistent. The realme 11 Pro+ and realme 11 Pro will run on MediaTek Dimensity 7050 processor. They are also identical in size, with each sporting a 6.7″ FHD+ AMOLED curved display with 120Hz refresh rates.
You’ll have a healthy 5,000mAh battery capacity, with 67W SUPERVOOC charging.
It has been a year of innovations for realme so far, particularly with the realme C55 boasting Android’s First Mini Capsule. Read more about realme below!
