realme 11 Pro Series 5G to launch on 10th May; Home country China gets first dibs
realme is in the works to put forth their latest smartphone lineup in the form of the realme 11 Pro Series 5G.
realme has kept much of its hardware under wraps so far. It seems we’ll only get the full scope of things at its official launch on the 10th of May, which will take place in China.
What we do know is that the series will consist of two variants: the base realme 11 Pro 5G, and the upscaled realme 11 Pro+ 5G.
Aside from that, they’ve also teased the design of the realme 11 Pro series. For this, they’ve drawn upon the craftsmanship of Matteo Menotto, a former Gucci Prints designer.
The result is an elegant lychee-hued leather back texture with a lace-like strip which encircles the camera module before streaming downward all the way to the bottom. According to Matteo, this Sunrise Beige design was inspired by the pale golden hues of the rising sun as it drapes over the city landscape of his childhood city, Milan.
Aside from Sunrise Beige, the realme 11 Pro series will also come in Oasis Green and Astral Black.
realme adds that the innovative design takes a page off the textures and prints usually seen on luxury goods. As such, they’ve used a 3D couture-level seam technique and a 3D woven texture to exude the premium feel when the smartphone is nestled in your palm.
The realme 11 Pro Series 5G will most likely be a mid-ranger. There have been no news yet about its availability and pricing in Malaysia. We can only confirm that realme’s home country China will be the first in line to receive the new series.
It has been a year of innovations for realme so far, particularly with the realme C55 boasting Android’s First Mini Capsule. Read more about realme below!
